Antitrust to resume hearing of Apple’s iOS dominance case on Dec 13
MOSCOW, Nov 29 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service will continue to consider a case against Apple on abuse of its dominating position on the applications market for iOS on December 13, an authority spokesperson told PRIME on Friday.
The previous hearing was held on November 1, when the case was delayed due to a necessity to receive additional evidence.
The watchdog opened the case in August on a complaint from anti-virus maker Kaspersky because Apple had declined iterations of parent control program Kaspersky Safe Kids (KSK). Apple introduced its own application Screen Time, whose functions coincide with the parent control applications.
